WhatsApp and WAOrders
WAOrders is a product of Botolon LTD. It is not a separate company. This privacy notice covers Botolon and WAOrders, including data we receive through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform.
WAOrders lets restaurants take orders on WhatsApp. A customer messages the restaurant’s WhatsApp number. We use that conversation only to take the order (menu, items, address, confirmation) and to send matching approved UTILITY updates when the restaurant changes the order status (for example accepted, preparing, out for delivery, completed). It is not a general-purpose assistant. We do not send marketing or unsolicited WhatsApp messages.
When a restaurant connects WhatsApp through Embedded Signup, we may collect: WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, display name, message templates and their approval status, webhook payloads, the customer’s WhatsApp number and message content, and order details.
We share this with the restaurant so they can fulfill the order, and with Meta to send and receive WhatsApp messages. We may also use hosting and payment processors. We do not sell this data. We do not use WhatsApp Platform data for advertising or retargeting.
Customers opt in by messaging the restaurant. They can opt out by sending STOP. Restaurants and customers can request deletion by emailing [email protected] or using our User Data Deletion page. See also our Terms of Use.
